thanks for the reply i think i might do the int and exh and maybe some head work for this year and next.
then when its time for a different engins in my drag car i'll put my old drag engine in my truck i'll just need to freshen it up and remove the turbo.

hers's a couple of pics of the engine in my race car that will eventally go in my truck minus the turbo.
it's s.b.c 393 cui with a 101 mm turbo n/a the engine made 626 h.p and 600 lbs of turque with the turbo on it and 30 lbs of boost it made 1370 hp at the tire's on the chasie dyno.
