First truck!!

Its an 85 GMC Sierra Classic that my great grandfather bought brand new. After he died in 89 my daddy and grandpa drove for a while til my grandpa let it sit and finally decided to give it to me. She's got power windows power locks tilt cruise and only 97,764 miles on the 305/350

I'll better pics tomorrow when I change the plugs. Today me and my daddy rebuild and put a 650 edelbrock on it that was on his old 81 crewcab.

Re: First truck!!

Haha I hear everybody sayin how they regret gettin rid of their first vehicle but I dont think I'll get rid of it! I plan on putting(with a little help from my pops of course) a 350 with a lil cam in it, paiting it pearl silver w/ blue pinstriping, new wheels, and 3:73's with a posi. It'll keep me outta trouble til I start drivin it!

Re: First truck!!

Well I just spent more money on the truck. I bought headers, flowmaster mufflers, and a tach. Hopefully we get the primer and have it primed before we go on vacation! Oh and sorry I havent gotten better pics yet my mom usually takes the pics for me..

Re: First truck!!

Are those the 1/3/4 Hedmans? I had a set like those. Just sold them this fall. I switched to a bbc. Those are nice headers. The fit wasn't bad and they don't leak. If they are the bigger tubes, you might have to take a die grinder and notch the frame on the drivers side for one tube for clearence. I think it was for the #7 cylinder tube. Anyway, congrats on the truck. My first one is in my avatar.
