When I was a kid, my dads 55 had swivel buckets, I think they were from a mid 70's monte carlo.

I think some of the BIG Thunderbirds from the 60's did that as well. Or maybe it was a telescoping steeing wheel that locked into place when you shut the door.

How about the MOPARs with the push button 727's?

Or the mopars with the shifter on the dash. Mid fifties Desoto's had them.

I drove a '78 Nova for a while (in the early '90s) that if your feet were wet it would ground out the dimmer switch. It didn't dawn on me at first why the headlights would get dimmer & there was a burning smell.

I believe it was the thunderbirds that had the swivel seats and the steering column that move horizontal

Dads '57 Desoto had a weird speedometer needle, and push button automatic on the left side of the dash.

this thread really brings back memories of the tricks play on my kids. I had a 86 Buick rivera that you could switch from mph to kilometers. I told my sons it was a hyper drive. Kick the car into passing grear and hit the button, wow, like 140 in nothing flat!

thunder bird had the swivel seat and the steering column went right and then you pulled it back to the left to drive....

also chevy chevelle had a drivers bucket that turned to the outside to let you out....maybe a malibu ...

That would be a thunderbird. Ever tried to find a vacuum leak in one of those? Everything runs off vacuum in those suckers! Must be 12 miles of vacuum lines behind the dash!

How about the button on the floor to lubricate the front kingpin suspension(crankcase oil)

I always thought powering your w/s washer from the spare tire was ingenius, till you had a flat and needed it
