Vintage Air with LS Swap in 85

Has anyone done it? I would like to install air in my truck but it doesn't have a 305/350 anymore. Would I use a factory compressor for the 6.0 I have installed? I am going to contact Vintage Air as well I just figured I would post here with all the duty experts here. With all the swaps I figured someone has had to do it before.

Re: Vintage Air with LS Swap in 85

The VA kit uses a Sanden 508 compressor. The kit in my truck had a V-belt, so I just ordered another seerpentine belt clutch and their brackets to make it work. The brackets they sell come from Kwik Performance, and you have to buy another tensioner to get it all to play nice. Doing it over again, I would go ahead and get the mounting brackets and compressor from Dirty Dingo instead. Brent is selling compressors (that was the part I was having a bit of a time sourcing).

The ls compressor is a vairable displacement and vintage doesn't recomend using it with their system.
