Wheels and Tires...Finally!

Took me about 4 years to get a set of wheels, get them blasted and powder coated and then get tires on them...LOL! 33x12.5x16.5 BFG's on 9.75" wheels with the clips...last made in 1968!

Nice! Glad to see you are still plugging away on the Longhorn Mike. Will you be driving it to the October swap meet?

Re: Wheels and Tires...Finally!

Mark, Probably not...look behind the Longhorn at the vehicle with the snowmen in the grill. It is the current project, 1969 Flxible Cruiser...I just had to get the stack of tires out of the way...LOL!

The pics look even better at home on my computer. I would love to have a set for my Longhorn but I would coat the wheels black.

Re: Wheels and Tires...Finally!

Thanks for all the compiments guys. I will post more pics as I start getting the trim on and interior completed. There is a little known 1968 Longhorn color brochure, with the Anniversary color scheme and the standard Argent Silver wheels on the cover and with Anniversary Gold wheels on the inside foldout. I will post it later...pretty cool. That is the look I was going after...100 pt. restoration...LOL!
