stupid sun visor question

was there any difference between the sun visors and their associated hardware for the different trim levels? i.e. are a set of black visors for a Custom 10 the same as a Cheyenne Super? (for some reason, I have something in the back of my mind telling me there was some shiny trim/hardware on the higher up trim levels - like the mounting anchor plate - was that chrome on any models or black on all??, for the life of me, I just don't know....) Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge they are all the same. I don't remember seeing any different ones...

Re: stupid sun visor question

thanks Leon - funny, when I go to my "archive" of pics of trucks, I do have a lot of interior shots - but when is the last time you saw one that was angled up enough where you could see the visors and their hardware!? I didn't have one.

Re: stupid sun visor question

actually.... just thought of this, a PICTURE of a visor from a no-kidding cheyenne super would be worth a thousand words. Anyone?

Re: stupid sun visor question

The differences between a base truck sun visor and a top-o-the-line sun visor are...

The base: Bull hide vinyl in matching color to seat w/chrome clips at end of stitching and painted to match mount.

The top-o-the-line: Bull hide vinyl in matching color to seat w/chrome clips at the...what the heck...DITTO!!

Heh heh. Seriously, the only difference is in color. Some colors available on a Cheyenne Super, for instance, were not available on other trim levels. If the truck had a color available in all trim levels, like black, the visors are identical.
