Dumb question Brian - what does "G" Series mean (mirrors)? I assume these are the 71-72 tripod mirrors where the entire tripod fits ABOVE the upper door molding, is that correct? Just curious what the G meant. Is that vice "C" or "K" series?

Mike...if you can hold these for a week or so and if these are correct GM Mirrors then I'll take them. I have some stuff on ebay that will be ending in about three days

G series refers to vans. These are GM mirrors but the top mounting arm may have a slightly different angle then the ones for our trucks.

Is the mirror head and "L" bracket that comes off the mirror the same as the truck mirrors?

Does anyone know if the G Mirror and the L bracket that comes off the mirror is the same as those on our trucks?

Looks like the mirrors are the same as for our trucks. Can you measure the "L" brackets. If they are the same as mine I buy them. I just want to be sure. Thanks
