Bed Wood
Does anyone have the dimensions of the boards for a SWB. I'm going to mock up the bed wood before I final it. My plan is to go to Home Depot and purchase some pine and have it cut to fit.
I may be making some changes to the tire size and the rear end, so I would like to use like some cheap lumber before I install the good stuff. I believe there are 10 boards that make up the wood.........3/4 thick and 6' long, but I don't know how wide. Thank you, Merl 1968 Fleetside |

GMC Paul's has a diagram/blueprint on his site with all of the dimensions you need.

I think the board sizes even differs between years, but I can't remember the site I saw that on.

When I get to that stage of my project, I intend to remove the boards that are in place and use them as templates for the measurements. Just a thought, if you can go a short time without using your bed.
