Where do the door bumpers go on a TF?

I have a set of new door rubber bumpers for my 57. It's a set of six bumpers, two are flat, two are about 3/8ths of an inch tall, and two are about 1/2 inch tall. My truck never had these so I haven't seen them installed before, and I can't tell for sure how they should go. My old standby LMC catalog couldn't help me this time, anyone???

Re: Where do the door bumpers go on a TF?

I can look in my assembly manual tonight. I seem to recall the flat ones go on the door about center of the vent window? The tall ones on the body upper rear corner of the door seems like another bumper goes at the bottom corner of the door too. I'll post again after I look at my manuals.

Thanks. From looking at the door and cab that's the way I had thought that they should go but I will wait to verify it before putting them on since they don't come back out easily.

I wish now I had gotten an assembly manual when I first got my truck.

Re: Where do the door bumpers go on a TF?

After looking at the Assembly Manual to refresh my memory. The "button" type bumper is located on the front side of the door about mid height of the vent window. The two cone style bumpers are located in the rear of the door opening. One on the body (top) and one either in the door or on the body at the bottom.
Hope that helps. I could not find a "good" diagram showing all. Let me know if you need anything else.

After looking at the assembly manual my post above is correct. The button type is on the front of the door by the vent window. Cone types at top and bottom rear corners of the door opening.

Thanks, D-59. I installed them that way and it seems to be good. The doors really close tight with the new weather strip and the bumpers.
