Chroming Recommendations Atlanta metro

Guys,
PO cutout the dash in my 55 for a radio install and I am trying to cover with a dash speaker grill from a 53 chev sedan, so have cut it to shape and now need to re-chrome, along with the ash tray.

An recommendations in the Atlanta area for chroming that won't break the bank,
dash piece is 12 x 6, and ashtray is like 2.5 x 4 and was just quoted $500 over
the phone.

thanks
OL55

Can't help with the chrome recommendation, but why not use a radio patch panel?

You might try Southern Bumper Exchange in Atlanta. It's near the airport. I had my bumpers for my last truck re-chromed there and they looked super. They do other things than bumpers and they are very nice folks to deal with, but be prepared, chrome work is never cheap. .

It was $250 per bumper. I'm not sure why they price it like this but if the bumper is straight and not bent, or if it is damaged and needs straightening it's still $250. It was a 69 Dodge and reproduction parts aren't available for it like Chevy/GM parts are. The new bumpers for my 57 Chevy were cheaper than the chrome work on the Dodge bumpers. I also had my division bars and vent window frames plated there and it was $280 for the four pieces.
