cragar ss problem

ok so i got a set of new bfg radial ta 295/50/15's on a set of 11" wide cragar ss wheels( real oldie ones)
these wheels were acquired in a trade.

the front wheels, seem to measure with the same back spacing and all other dimensions, but one wheel measures right at 8" wide and one wheel measures just a hair over 7 1/2" or so.

this might be a pointless dumb question but is it imposible to run those front wheels? as in safety and completely noticable difference when on the truck etc?

the front tires will be bfg radial ta 245/60/15

Re: cragar ss problem

You could probably run them and it would never create an issue. There could be a slight tire heigth differences and maybe a wear issue but I doubt it, With that being said I personally would not do it, I would out the hard press on to find a matching set.

FYI..Cragar made 15x10s not 15x11s that Ive ever heard of. When you measure wheels edge to edge it will say 11", but wheel companys measure them from inside lip to inside lip. That will give you 10".

Dont think it would be any less safe than driving on a spare tire that narrower. I Think you be ok.
