Tall(ish) Valve Covers with A/C?
Wondering if these valve covers would work with the over cover A6 compressor brackets. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/POLISHED-SBC...ht_4656wt_1037)
I know that standard tall valve covers will not work with the log compressors but is this the standard tall? It doesn't say tall specifically and it is 3 1/4 inch from seal lip to top tall. I'm pretty sure that normal tall style covers are like 3 3/4 or 4" tall so I'm thinking these might work. Does anyone have any measurements of how tall stock valve covers are and how much room is between the stock valve covers and A/C brackets? My engine is torn apart and out so I can't measure those. Maybe somebody has these valve covers anyway? Thanks, Michael

Re: Tall(ish) Valve Covers with A/C?
Found out that stock SBC valve covers are 2 1/4" tall. Does anyone know how much space is between stock valve covers and the A6 compressor bracket?
Thanks.
