Camber Adjustment?
Hi. I just had a guy do a ball joint and an upper control arm and he included an "allignment" but it pulls to the left. I called him and he says there is no Camber (or did he say Caster?) adjustment. I thought there were shims for this.
Is he right or can these be properly aligned and if so does anybody have the specs so I can make sure he gets it right? Much Thanks- WLH

he is full of it. take it somewhere else for the alignment. he obviously doesnt know what he is doing IMO

OK, Thanks. I just went back and they got it to at least stay straight.
The "brake job" they did was a real laugh. The shop owner test drove it and said "it stops good" and handed me the keys. I got in and tried the brakes and the peddle went to the floor. I explained that this wouldn't be good with a bed of gravel coming down out of the hills here. I had to really argue with him about this. So they adjusted the shoes out qagainst the drums and when I got home (6 miles) they were smoking hot. The stoory goes on but you get the point. Thanks-WLH

Sounds like a quality shop. My truck is lowered 5.5" in front with cut coils (yeah yeah I know) and my shop got my alignment fixed no problem. Camber has nothing to do with the truck driving straight. Ive had cars with crazy front camber and they never pulled left or right.
