66 GMC rear end swap
im looking for a replacment rear end option for my 66 gmc's dana 44 6 lug with leafs. the tubes are rough & i would like to go with somthing newer & keep the leafs & change to 5 lugs. any ideas guys on what would fit ? my truck is a 2wd long fleet side 1/2 ton.

A 10 or 12 bolt from a '73-'87 C10, or Suburban will bolt right up, although it will be 1.5" wider than your current Dana 44. The location of the shocks will be different also.
