Re: Restored woodgrain panels

I'll take a set with no emblem and no glovebox door. So just the gauge bezel, door panel inserts, and woodgrain applique for the door. PM me with payment info.

pm sent. As of now you're getting my only applique for the door that's finished. I'll send another one out to CSM to get him to restore it so I'll have a second set to sell...

I am looking for an original bezel (no Guages) with woodgrain, a little fade is ok, my glove box and door panels are all original, with a little fade.

Are you saying a 3 hole or a 7 hole cluster? I have a decent 7 hole

Re: Restored woodgrain panels

7 hole, would like to see some pictures. I probably won't be buying till 15th of April since I have already committed for something on the first and my wife thinks I should be spending on other things. You can text or email pictures.

Re: Restored woodgrain panels

I am also interested in a few items you might be able to help with.

I'm building a 72 Cheyenne Super clone from a 72 CST. My build is very similar to Jwall's (same colors, bucket seats etc.). Except my seat covers do not have the scroll pressed in them.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=486244

Shopping list:
OEM style wood grain setup (red door panel, black gbox lid)
Cheyenne Super GBox Emblem (w/o scroll, trying to eliminate the scroll look)
8K tach instrument cluster
Console cup holder?

I have the original 7 hole no tach cluster (not sure about gage condition), glove box lid & CST door panels (black molded w/chrome trim and upper scroll).

Curious what you might have, cost & shipping (84010).

Thanks

Re: Restored woodgrain panels

I have the emblem without the scroll in it (it's correct for a 71 but will fit just like a 72) 100 as they are rare and this one is in good condition.
I have an 8K tach I am working on right now but won't be finished for a couple of weeks. Will be listing it on the board when complete but if you're interested I will sell it with a used bezel (so you can put the woodgrain one on) for 495 including shipping with insurance.
I can restore a console if you can supply the red paint code you want it sprayed (or if you want black I can do that) I have factory style (correct for 73-up) cupholder consoles ( 395 shipped in black or 445 shipped in red)
and the billet upgrade in polished or brushed. I get 500 shipped in black and 550 shipped in colors for those when fully restored.

I don't have any more of the restored woodgrain at this time. It would be best for you to contact Cheyenne Super Man directly if you want a set restored like the ones above. If you need good originals for him to restore (he was out when I checked last week and was considering purchasing some from me) I can supply those...but check with him first. He also reproduces the dash and glovebox pieces and they fit well.

I do have some of the correct door panels but they are black. They can be dyed (painted) to match but I am unaware of any nice red ones available. 195 for the pair stripped then painted your red color (you will need to supply the woodgrain and chrome trim piece or purchase a used one from me for CSM to restore)

Re: Restored woodgrain panels

I appreciate your help VA72C10.

I will contact Cheyenne Super Man as you suggest.

Is the instrument cluster complete just swap out the new wood grain bezel and install?

My original door panels (black like yours) have good trim but I would need the wood grain inserts as you mention.

If CSM is still out how much would you charge for a set of restorable inserts?

Thanks for your help..

Yes, the dash would be 100% complete minus swapping out the bezel. You could also choose to have the bezel shipped to me and I can install before shipping to you.

On the woodgrain panels, a set that's faded but not scratched up/damaged I'd sell for 100 shipped.
