does a lot better when you are shifting it instead of putting it in drive and on a road thats not freshly rocked

Drives BAD in the rain! learned that one today, no defrost, drag radials in the back and a detroit locker make for a hairy drive home at 10pm with a steady rain. one of my front 6 lug rotors exploded about a month ago and I swapped over to 5 lug found some 200s wheels. I need some axles for the back but I'm going to put c-clip eliminators on it and some new tires for it so all that will wait until I get back from Afghanistan, putting the truck up soon anyways why put fresh tires on and have them sit for a year and a half
