What headers are you running? I need some recommendations.

Thank you,

Re: HEADERS - shorty

I have long tube Headman headers on my truck, I did not buy them they where on it when I got it.
They seem to fit fine and don't have any leaks, but I would have bought some with jet hot coating on them so they would last longer.

Yes they are. You can find them cheaper than ECE sells them. I lucked out and paid $225 shipped for mine. (Ebay)

I have the Sandersons pictured, they fit great and look great. I only have about 2500 miles on them tho.

+1 Long tube Headmans. Mine came free and used. Need the shorty's if you've dropped the truck, mine only clear the pavement 2" with the 4" drop. Ceramic coated Sanderson's Shorty's will be next!

Re: HEADERS - shorty

502MS can you get to your plugs? My biggest fear is that I get the wrong headers and have to pull them to change the plugs.

Keep the posts coming this is great info. Thank you!!!

What's the part number on these? Are they made for our trucks or for a chevelle or other car?

Re: HEADERS - shorty

I have Headman long tube headers, no problems with fit. Regarding the coating, these were just plain black. I installed the headers and burned the paint off, then media blasted them. The paint was like glue when they were new so I burned it off; much easier. From there KBS makes a primer/paint combo that has held up so far. There are a couple colors to choose from; mine are black.

These are "made" for a Chevelle, but they fit our trucks really well, getting to the plugs isn't really a problem.... The guy I bought them from listed them as "CC-10 Chevelle Small block headers"

Re: HEADERS - shorty

Hedman has a new shorty header for C-10 trucks. 1 5/8" Part # 69010 & 69016, 1 3/4" 69020 & 69026.

Re: HEADERS - shorty

I have the sanderson shortys, One of the plugs is a pain the a** to change!
They fit good, look great, and use no gaskets. My truck is lowered 5-7 and I do not have any issues.

Im pretty sure mine are the cc-11 sandersons.

Chad, Justin (Jwall) runs Sanderson shortys on his truck I believe. Here is a link to what I think is on his BB truck.

This is what I was planning on for my dropped BB project.

Re: HEADERS - shorty

I dont know what my headers are as they come on the truck. They hang down way too low. Anyone want to trade for some stock manifolds or My headers plus cash for some shortys?

If you are anywhere near Kelowna BC and have anything laying around send me a message. I cant lower my truck until I put manifolds back on and pull this exhaust out.
