Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
When the truck is on the ground my tank is about 6 inches up, plus the tubes that go across to mount the tank protect it too. With the front up it's still 3 or 4 inches up. I can drag it but haven't tried to yet, still trying to get a feel for driving it before i do.

Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
Just curious, what kind of radiator and fan set up is that? Where could it find that set up? Also what headers are you using? By the way nice work and badass truck!

Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
Thanks for the compliments. The radiator is from AFCO, just a universal size. The electric fan/shroud combination is from SPAL. I got the header from Ebay for a late 70's Camaro or Firebird.

Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
I have that same fuel cell, do you think I can see a pic of how you mounted it from the bottom?
Great work. Thanks, JE |

Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
I cut off the little B.S. tabs they weld on the cell and made the straps that go across the top. The tubes that go across the bottom are welded to the frame and are notched on the sides for the corners of the cell. Hope that helps.

Re: 68 Chevy on 22's
Well everyone, it's officially gone. I have had this thing for sale for about 2 months, posted it on craigslist in las vegas and it only took 2 hours for someone to call and make a deal on it. They drove down to phx on saturday and picked it up. Off to a good home though.
