cool find in my truck

Today I was pulling the front clip and cab, getting ready to clean and blast, so I had to remove the fuel tank from the cab. After I got the tank out I noticed a petrified chocolate chip cookie and a sheet of paper under the tank, I cleared out the cookie before thinking to take a pic of it. Yehh I know all of you want to see a petrified cookie right? so anyway picked up the paper and wiggled it loose flipped it over and it turned out to be the truck build sheet. Well I think it's cool, so I took a pic or two. You can't see the details very well but everything matches.

Cool!

I found mine the same way it was shoved in the back of the seat behind the cushioning. My wife framed it for me, it hangs in my man cave.

Re: cool find in my truck

Nice find for sure. I found mine under the floor mats padding. I think each assembly plant stuck them in different places, maybe even each assembler.

Re: cool find in my truck

I found two in my 69, one in the seat springs and one behind the gas tank. This was years ago and I never thought to save them, I wish I had!

Re: cool find in my truck

Great find! I found mine behind the seat springs as others have. Didn't find a cookie, but did find a cool fingernail clipper that says "General Motors Parts" under the floor mat.

Re: cool find in my truck

I searched the entire cab for mine to no avail, and finally found it glued to the front of the bed once the cab was removed from the frame... getting it off without destroying it was a trick, but they're sure nice to have!

Re: cool find in my truck

I have mine somewhere, found it while cleaning under the seat. I also found a vintage Crackerjack prize behind the passenger side door handle.

Re: cool find in my truck

Didn't find one for my truck. All the places that others have said they looked and found theirs....not on my truck. Oh well....sure hope it didn't make my truck worth twice as much money with it. Any number times zero is.....wait for it...zero. So, I got nothing.

Re: cool find in my truck

I searched mine and couldn't find anything...

But so far it seems you can find them:

Under the gas tank
Inside the seat
Under the floor mat
On the front of the bed

It would be cool to have
