WIW:Spindles,Rotors,Calipers
Hey Guys, I've got some real good what its worth advice in this department. Almost right to the dollar. I bought a lowering kit awhile back, after installing it, I found out I needed drop spindles. I've had these laying around for awhile so there gonna need cleaned up, I have both sides. 5-lug, spindle, rotor (hardly wore) brake caliper, dust cover, brake pads. No issue's with either side. I'm doing a rebuild and replaced every thing. These jewels are heavy. Might be expensive to ship them. Anyway, I was interested in selling them. What are they worth? each or together? Thanks for your time and advice in advance. Pete
Thought I should add this. Or would I be better off just scrapping them. I hate to even think of doing that, I'd rater give them to someone who could use them.

i know you can pick up a new 5 lug kit for 500-600.. depending on how much wear is on them, maybe 350-450......

Re: WIW:Spindles,Rotors,Calipers
I had an entire front crossmember assembly I couldn't get $50 for.
Unless you find someone wanting stock height spindles,... I would guess they are worth $25-30. Not trying to be harsh,... but here is what I see. You would really need to check bearings and races, and probably buy new. Buy new caliper and rotors. Also,... shipping would be terribly high because of the weight. All I really see is a set of spindles and dust shields. (just my 2 cents) Do you know what year spinldes these are? 71-72? 73-87? 1" wide or 1-1/4" wide?

Re: WIW:Spindles,Rotors,Calipers
there 1-1/4 Keith. You probably remember I had the worst time ever trying to figure the year out on them. I think I ended up puting 73 ball joints in them. I went through three different sets before I finally got it right. You helped me out with figuring that out... I didn't think they'd be worth much. Just didn't want to scrap them if someone could use them. Actually the bearings and races along with the rotors are in great shape. calipers worked fine, never had any issues with them. I agree the weight would kill the shipping aspect. I think I'll run them in my local trader. I haven't really seen that many trucks like ours in my area. but who knows. I should break them down and hang on to the rotors and brake calipers, I may need them myself in time. Anyway, thanks for the input, you've never steered me wrong. no pun intended Thanks friend

I appreciate all the input jwodahl. I should have acknowledged your input. lolife99 has helped me out in the past, and is very knowledgable in suspension parts and I trust his judgement. The economy is tough all over right now. I think its even tougher on truck parts. Makes it rough to play with our toys

Hey Pete, not to hijack, but I haven't seen you on here in a while. Do you have a build thread for your truck? From the avatar pic, it appears that it's coming back together
