Re: Black or White? Opinions
I agree with jocko, if it was originally orange that would be cool, but I vote for white

I think you're life is already filled with too much stress, why don't you just send the ramp truck to me and get in a more peaceful state of Zen and than everything will be o.k.

Re: Black or White? Opinions
I'd leave it as is personally. Maybe add some good original CST trim to the fenders (not new / shiney) some aluminum wheels or even covers? .. and a door logo.
Wash in in Ajax a couple times and call it done. I like the black and kick a$$ look of the truck. I'd be afraid if you paint it you wouldn't want to really haul anything with it (??)

Re: Black or White? Opinions
I thought about going the ratrod route with this truck (I am doing that with my 67 stepper) and still have not completely ruled it out but I am replacing all the sheetmetal with solid pieces that I have so I would have to fake up the patina and I'm not about to do that.
I really am torn between White and Black, both have advantages. I think gloss black with new shinny CST trim would be smokin hot looking and would show off the super straight sheet metal. The door logo might not look right though. White would be cooler in the Florida heat and the one pictured is beautiful, no doubt, but I think it would lose it's 'Road Warrior' look. I am also looking ahead in case I decide to sell it in the future. Which paint job would add the most value? It is a rare truck but won't be stock as I'm adding disks up front and the orig 6 has been replaced with a 72 350. I might also go with drop spindles to bring the nose down a little. Sorry for the ramble....I have to make up my mind soon and I thank you for everyone's input. Here is a pic of the cab going thru the Ospho treatment (pretty cool looking).

Re: Black or White? Opinions
Reno, black would look awesome. But... remember what it's like down here in the summer, maybe wait until the end of July and see if you still like Black. But then again it's not like you'll be using it for a daily driver either. Hard decision since either would look good.

Re: Black or White? Opinions
Somehow, it would be neat to use both. Like it would be designed to haul the '57 stock car that they made for the old man on Pawn Stars. I forget who originially raced one in the day. Maybe Grumpy Jenkins?

White would look best in my opinion. With a blue or red interior.

Re: Black or White? Opinions
Actually I like the orange. Adding a white top would really set off the CST trim on the cab. Or actually all three work too. Orange and white with a black bed lettered up with orange and white. Orange wheels maybe too. Photoshop time!

Re: Black or White? Opinions
Update: The factory special paint is ORANGE. Seems odd, wasn't orange a factory color for 67? Why would it be special paint unless its a different shade of orange. May be a clue as to owned it back in the day....
Just looked it up....516 orange was a stock 67 color. Hmmmmmmm......
