Will 305-50-15 fit ok on my.......
......15 X 8 4x4 ralleys? I want a big beefy tire on the back. Anyone wouldn't happen to have any of these on their truck at stock height?

I wouldn't put that wide on a 8" rim. Maybe on a 10"

I agree with Ackattack......they should be on 10" wheels. You can run a 275/60/15 on an 8" wheel.....they are crowdin the wheel a bit, but not too bad. I get a full footprint on mine when I kick to throttle

I once put a 305-50-15 on a 15 X 8 Cragar street star and it seem to work fine. I was on a 1969 Pontiac LeMans. It rubs on dips but other then that they worked great.

i agree with crazy i wouldnt go no bigger than a 275 on an 8 inch wheel at least if u plan of having the tire stay on the wheel

I have a 295/50/15 on 10" rims. I don't think I would put a larger wheel on. These come out to the very edge of the wheel well.

I would want a 10 inch rim ant the least for rubber that wide. If you run them they will wear in the center pretty bad.

I have 275/60 on 8" ralleys, and on my step they fill the wells. I have stock springs, so I don't fear any rubbing (especially since all the parts are off at this moment). I would think if you was lowered at all or did any hauling, they would rub. Plus like Andy said, I would think the would bulge a lot in the middle and wera out fast. Local tire shop specs recommend 10" minimum for that size for what it is worth.

tire size
I have 295-50-15 on back of 69 mounted on 10s . They will occasionally rub on the inside of tub under hard corner.Have not had this problem with 71 or 72 but 5 lug has a wider rear.I personally wouldn't run anything bigger than a 275-6o on 15x8

I had 275 60s on 15x8 and now the center tread on my bfg's are smooth, but they're on 15x10s now so i dont have to worry about it getting worse.
