Air Conditoner removal Q'

On my 69, The sorta pyramid lookin thingy bolted to the passenger side of the firewall,where the airconditioner hoses went into.Can I remove that? Whats on the other side? Will it mess up the heater? Will there be a hole? I just dont know ..??

you can remove it lots of hidden bolts, and you will lose your heater also, why not just leave it, one day you will want a/c, and it will be there for you...all of us would love to have an a/c cab.....its a big case and all heater and a/c ducts and everything is in side the box....

Ok. Well,Thats what i needed to know. If anyone wanys the air conditioning unit , I'm selling the whole shabang. I have most new hoses,and dryer.radiator is really good shape Compressor works. Just now taking off everything. Just trying to take my time so i dont bend any of th plumbing. Seems like I may have to remove a few things to get it out without messing it up, but i'm in no rush.If anyones interested,let me know. I'm in Hesperia Ca.
