Pics of your 16.5 X 8.25 wheels and tires
I need to purchase tires for the Blazer and need your help. I have the wheels mentioned above and I am going to go open face with them. I need to know what size tires to use. The guys at tire shop scratch their heads. I want a tire that is wide like the wheel but not necessarily tall and monster mudder looking. I like the BF Goodrich all terraign TA look as far as tread design but am open on that. Please help me to get the size correct. It is not like trying on shoes, " That won't do, Do you have that in a seven?" I priced these bad boys and it is going to hurt, for a liitle while. Anybody know where the cheapest tire prices can be had? My blazer is not going to be a mudder pretty much a street driver. Help!

Re: Pics of your 16.5 X 8.25 wheels and tires
Sorry not a blazer but this is the tire and wheel combo you asked about. The tires are 33 12.5 16.5 and the wheels are 8.25. There is no lift, just the heavy duty factory springs and a set of helper springs.
These tires and wheels would look great on a blazer (IMO)

Looks good!!! And no lift! Do front tires rub during sharp turns?

No rubbing and they are BFG's. I prefer the blackwall look on mine.

9.50 x 16.5
You will have VERY few options in the smaller 16.5 tires.

Re: Pics of your 16.5 X 8.25 wheels and tires
Here is what I have on my 69 K20. They are Dunlop Radial Rovers. I forget the exact specs but they are 33" tall and about 10.5" wide on 16.5" wheels. Good on the road, great in the snow. They were on when i bought the truck so dont know the cost.

Re: Pics of your 16.5 X 8.25 wheels and tires
Resurrecting this old thread to ask if anyone has pics of a 9.5" wide tire on these 16.5 x 8.25 wheels. Just got my wheels back from powder coating now looking for tires. Seems like the BFG A/T in 12.5" and Firestone Transforce in 9.5"( http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...=1&RunFlat=All ) are the options right now. The Firestone looks to be more of a highway tire and probably wouldn't look as good on my K20 vs. the BFGs.
Thanks, Pete
