Upper Controle Arm bushing Questions
I need a new bushing for my truck and was wondering if I should buy the whole shaft and bearings or if I should just buy the bushings? Also how hard is it to replace the bushings?

Re: Upper Controle Arm bushing Questions
What year truck do you have? 67-72 or 73-87?

Re: Upper Controle Arm bushing Questions
I would just replace the bushing and clean up the arm shaft. They can be a little trouble to get out, but with a little elbow grease, it can be done. Sometimes you can heat them a little to soften the rubber, but if you go to a local auto shop, they can probably press them out fairly easily. May not cost too much and save you some time.
Putting new ones in, is a lot easier. We sell the Prothane bushings and carry the black (color) ones in stock. Hope that info helped. |
