Re: cab chassis question
Im only going to say this once... the original poster is asking what he should grab for himself.. he is a non sudscriber and is following the rules. If others start asking him for parts and he sells them to you he gets into trouble .also anyone who is a non subscriber who asks for parts in this thread is posting a want to buy and that is also not allowed here. There will be infractions given for anyone violating the rules here . so lets not turn this thread into anything that it is not any further wtbs or things to take it off track will result in it being locked

Re: cab chassis question
Is it diesel or gas? You could grab the hydro-boost brakes as an upgrade for your vacuum assist, the windshield and rear window would be nice for "extras",if the interior is nice, grab that. Is it auto or manual?

Also, as I think it over, I would probably grab the proportioning valve and the MC/Booster for the brakes as well if you're taking the rear end. Given that its a C+C truck it is possible that it could have different diameter brakes than what the truck you'd be swapping it into has... I know GM used different size brakes from model to model, just not what all the option codes were and when you got into something that was different - my thinking is the work-oriented nature of the C+C would mean different/heavier duty brakes than the average pickup, and thus if you just swapped the rear end into a truck your other parts (esp the prop valve) might not allow them to work as well as they used to... I remember once about 8-9 years ago when ordering parts before I had to come up with that the brake option code was because the parts I needed differed, and there was more than one option for my weight rating.... Re: cab chassis question
You do know the rear end is narrower than a normal truck right? I would have grabbed the tailgate and/or complete bed.

Re: cab chassis question
If it had a double fuel tank, grab the switch, they go bad often and are expensive to replace, also grab things for emergency brakes...thats all I can think of that is useful.
