Heater Control / Cable Question
Hey gang,
. Quick question: I purchased a new heater control ass'y and cables for my non-A/C '70 stepper. What is the order of the cables on the control ass'y? Shortest cable to top (Def.), middle length cable to center (air/switch), and longest to bottom (temp)???? I want to secure the cables to the ass'y before I rip it all apart (DD). Also, what retains the loops on the cable to the arms? Are there pushnuts or some special clips? . I've looked thru the FAQ page and I'm still a bit confused. Don't want to use my usual "do it twice" method ! . Thanks in advance ! ! . Toby |

Re: Heater Control / Cable Question
This is straight out of the manual.
I hate guessing also.

Re: Heater Control / Cable Question
Thanks Andy. I don't have an assembly manual, just a shop manual and it's not clear there.

Re: Heater Control / Cable Question
It took me a little but I found it. Kept getting side tracked. Hope it helps.

Re: Heater Control / Cable Question
Thanks Doc. I saw that post earlier. Shortest cable on top? Longest on bottom?
. Thanks, Toby |

I think that is correct. It's been long enough I would have to look to be sure.... Edit: Yep, that is correct. LockDoc
