old question, re-asked with picture
OK, is this a stock seat...or at least what the stock seat with the cloth factory option would look like? After finding the build sheets, I have to think that it probably is. Who was helping me with this a month ago?

it sure looks like mine, and im pretty sure mine is stock, so my money is on yeah, its stock

Yeah, thats a stock seat. Heres mine. Original sandalwood. Man, I gotta lay off them BEANZ! Good thing I have a nice cover for it.

Yeah, as I've said before...my truck was gently used by the original owner...funny thing about that cushioning under the driver's side seat too. It is all squished in there. When I sit on it, I can feel the wire at the base. Yet in the middle and on the passenger side it is fairly firm.
Not sure what to do...guess I'll just get pillow or something for a while.

Any good upholstery shop can fix the seat for you, it is common to have the driver's side broken down from years of use. You can get original seat cover or just re-cover in a fabric you choose. I had mine re-built, new foam, and new cover, all for $150.00 about 3 years ago. Couldn't pass that deal up.

I'll second the yeah on that.
The cloth seats were not all that common on the '70 and older trucks. |
