Fixing washer pump

Hello, me again..

So I'd really like to reuse the original pump, I want to avoid buying repro or an electric one if possible.

My problem: I blew the piston out of it (don't ask how, it happens to everyone now and then ). So how the heck do I get it back in? The clip kind of confuses me.

Thanks!
Andy

Re: Fixing washer pump

The main piston has a clip on the back that is somewhat like a brake shoe clip. You have to turn it. The trouble come when you try to find a new one..I have had no luck. I could find the valves.

Re: Fixing washer pump

I just decided to get the universal pump. Gonna mount where the mechanical pump would go. Thanks anyway!
