I've used the 194 lamps in truck, sense my car also uses them.

Talking

Although I like the standard markers, I like the deluxe more.

Deluxe!

I am going to be the dissenter and go with regular markers. Actually, I have heard that the markers from an 80-s "G" van will work also, I'd be interested to see them.

The van ones work, they had 3 styles, the standard and delux off our trucks, and then the later smooth ones.
The smooth ones look nice on a modified truck, and put out twice as much light with the same bulb, but I think I prefer the delux ones myself.
you could install the 168 bulbs...more light, same size/shape bulb.

The chrome trim on the deluxe markers really set off a clean truck.

I like the delux too .. if your're going to use the LED bulbs, you might want to look into the clear side markers ...just a thought

yeah sure... here it is. They fit in the hole perfectly and don't stick out very much at all. The set I have on my truck right now came out of a local salvage... I picked up all four for 5 bucks.

I've got them on my truck as well, here's a pic of the front. They look much better than the old stock lenses.

I actually got them off four different vans ranging from abour '84-'93. I think they spread out over more years of vans, but I'm not sure exactly which years had them.

I'm not sure on the exact year range but, If you go out to a salvage around you they should have quite a few of them. We all know soccer mom's can't drive... or is that their children that just started driving?

JC Whitney sells our deluxe side markers brand new for $5 each. They are the same as the van ones, so they just sell them as 67-72 deluxe. I'm sure you could get the newer smooth van ones for about the same price. I'm getting all new deluxe ones for the Blazer when it gets closer to time to put them on. Thats where the ones on my 71 came from too. Jeff.
