86 High Sierra

Here is my farm find. got it for $1000. Her daughter wrecked it and they were told the frame was bent, So they parked it and it sat for about five years.

the engine is in need of some serious help. It hardly runs doesn't downshift properly has no response. so time to freshen the 305 up. I know the 305 the world best boat anchor I've heard them all. but whatever i use will bolt on to a 350 when the time comes. trans fluid has some miles on it but not burnt and the transfer case works fine.

look at the surprise I found under the intake! Years of neglect. That is a load of carbon. sorry about the image quality.

Couldn't reuse the valve covers so decided on some cheap chrome ones. It's amazing what sitting will do

Figured out the coolant leak. I didn't lube the o ring under the water neck. And upon closer inspection I put the fuel filter on backwards.
