Power steering problems
My dads 73 GMC had a leaking sterring box , we changed the box and now the steering is lite . you can tap the steering wheel with your finger and it will go from center to lock , it wont center exiting a corner , rather scary to drive .
Any Ideas ?

Re: Power steering problems
I'm sure you have already looked at it, but have you made sure that all the bolts are tight and on the powersteering pump make sure the belt is not super tight but tight, and even make sure all the bolts and misc. items are tighted, because sometimes it's the simplest things. Hope it helps.

Re: Power steering problems
The only thing that was changed was the steering box not the pump
