brake booster on a 67 GMC?

I've got a line on a brake booster from a 1972 chevy pickup for $50. The seller says he thinks it will bolt right onto the firewall of my 67 gmc, and then I just bolt the brake master cyl to the end of the booster and bend the brake lines a bit to get them to fit the new position. Is it really this easy? Anything I should check on the brake booster to verify that it works well?

If I upgrade to some sort of disc brakes in the future, can I still use this brake booster?

Thanks guys!

Re: brake booster on a 67 GMC?

I put a booster from a 72 on my 69, and it bolted right up. I did also take the front discs. The thing to watch if you arent gonna have discs yet is the proportioning valve. You won't need it for drums all around. You should be able to bolt it on and use it like you described.
