Sway Bar

What front sway bar are you running? I'm looking at the one from Early Classics. Any feedback?

Re: Sway Bar

Anything from Early Classics is top notch. With that being said you can save some money by going to a wrecking yard and pulling a front sway bar off any 1973-1987 Chevy or GMC pickup or 1973 to 1991 Suburban usually for around 25/50 bucks. You can use one from a 1500/2500/3500 as the heavier trucks had thicker bars with the max thickness I believe was 1 and 1/4 inches. I have a 1 and 1/4 inch sway bar on my truck, from a 70's 9000lb. Camper Special Chevy, with Early Classics brackets for lowered trucks and installing a front sway bar is super bang for the buck.

Re: Sway Bar

Junk Yard bar for me. Pulled if off a 76 3/4 ton camper special. 1 1/4'' for $25. Also used ECE lowered brackets and new bushings and straps. Im into it for may be $80.
