Rad question
I was wondering if a rad from a 89 corsica would be big enough to cool a sbc. the rad is 25 wide x 16 high, and It would be running on it's side.
would I run into any problems?

Re: Rad question
I would think that it might be difficult to add antifreeze to it if you mount it sideways.

Re: Rad question
I ran a 78 Grenada radiator mounted on it's side for a couple of years because I was broke and needed to drive the truck. It cooled but looked like the pits. I'll buy putting it in so you can get the truck running and then be able to save up for a proper radiator though.
I bolted a couple of pieces of 1/8x1 flat bar across the front side of the core support and sandwiched the radiator between them and a pair on the back side so it was held solid. |

Re: Rad question
Yup you guessed it Mr48chev, I just finished my post school two weeks ago and funds are a little tight still. I would mostly just using it to get the truck running, and to make sure I don't have any leaks. and have it movable under its own power, getting tired of pushing it everywhere.
