front wheel seal help

SO I have ordered 2 sets of seals now and both are the same and neither is right.They are a 1/4" too deep and stick out past the drums so they rub on the backing plate. These are the drums that came off my 65 front end, anyone recognize them or have a good seal number.

Here are some Tinkin part numbers. They were the only ones correct for my 1964 c10 1/2 ton

Wheel bearing seals : 1960 and 1961 are 205044
1963 to 1970 are 9015S

I tried the 9015S's and they stuck out of the drum. I am wondering if this drum is 65 or not.

I have worked on tons of these trucks and those look like older hubs, maybe back in the late 50's early 60's....... the flange on the outside of the hub is what doesn't look period correct

Ok then this is the it. 1938 to 1959 are a Tinkin 6064

SHould I replace the drums or ok to run them.

I would replace the drums. Not sure about the spindle difference in the early trucks to our trucks. The best bet would be to upgrade to power disc brakes, stronger, reliable, easy to change out pads then shoes. I ran drums for a long time until I started the rest-mod rebuild.on my c10. I now have power four wheel disc brakes from the vendor CCP. I replaced my spindles to accept rotors. Drums are reliable if properly maintained and adjusted even in a power brake set up. My 2 cents.

I have 4 wheel disc on my suburb but this is going to be a bone stock resto on my short wide so either way I would stick with drums.
