Interested in this still Mike ....wife was put on bed rest baby due in 4 weeks having to miss some work ti watch 20 month old son...paychecks are lower than normal...trying to figure out....tach lense still hasn't showed up

Since it's a 3 series carrier, can't you just bolt your 3.73 ring gear to it. Just typing out loud.

3.54 is the carrier break, next is 3.73 and up. Some make a thick gear for this carrier but you pay more for it.

I know this is an older thread, but don't they make a ring gear spacer as well? I have used on in a 10 bolt and had no problems with it.

If you would do 180 shipped to Iowa(52002) i will take it. Payment ready if you are. The 3.08 ring is worthless without the matching pinion.... it would probably be cheaper to ship to just take it off. Also how many spline axle setup is this for and did it come out of a 12 bolt?

Guys don't mean to hyjack thread, just need schooled.
I have a 3:73 non-pos rearend ( TDA ) in my 1970 C10 ( six lug/12bolt) . Thinking I would like to try 3:08s. Would this set up have worked?? Thanks in advance for the info.
