Where to get a key made
I bought my '69 w/out a key. I got the assembly out of the passenger door but now what. No locksmiths in my neck of the woods

I bought an all new GM lock set, doors and ignition for $29. Your GM dealer may have them in stock. It will cost that much or more to get a key made. Always nice to have fresh new locks.

One thought, if you lock it you lose a window AND what's inside. That is why I don't lockl my doors. If they want it then they can have it, just don't break my glass.

Definitely better off just buying a whole new lock set and ignition. Even if you had a lock smith service close by, it would cost more than what it is worth.
