Road trip from Texas
Today, Todd Shelley from Kilgore Texas showed up to get his new cab and parts truck. 1400miles and 22hrs one way, that is true dedication. He has a one owner SB that his father bought new. The cab has seen better days so it will be getting a rust free Arizona one now. Loaded the truck, bullshi**ed for a while and back on the road again. Those guys from Texas are tough as nails. LOL

Got home at noon....20 hours from Havasu to Kilgore. Tired as hell, but already taking the bed off the truck! (yes, it's for sale, as well as the front clip)
It was great meeting a couple of guys from the board. Chuck was absolutely great...let us relax and shower at his house before we left to come back home. We had a few snags loading the truck on the trailer, but Chuck always had a plan to remedy the situation. Met Casey in Dallas and dropped off his fender. Can't wait to see his truck when it's finished! Overall, one hell of a trip, but totally worthwhile...and yes, I'll probably do it again! Todd |

Todd
Glad you made the trip all right. I also met him a couple weeks ago and traded some parts. We talked for a little while and he headed north and i headed south. Todd give me a call on front clip when you slow down. Thanks Steve |

Do you have anymore trucks??
I'm looking for a rust free cab and bed with a steel floor, to replace my rusted GMC 72 with. |
