Re: heres my baby

by the looks of the dust in the bed floor you have an original rubber mat for the rear. the bottom of the mat fits between the ribs of the floor to level things out so the carpet lays flat and easier on the feet. if the mat is in decent shape it is worth something. Looks like you need a console and some emblems. you have single wall top that I'm sure will look great after some new paint. Front and rear carpet strips that alot of people are looking for, although the rear one looks rough. with some elbow grease and some paint you will have a really nice rig.

Re: heres my baby

Looks like a very good start. By the way, I'm one of those who prefers the rubber mat so if its not too trashed I'd be interested.

Had a set of those rims in 8 lug on my '69. Wish they made them in 14" wide, I'd have them again.

Re: heres my baby

What Ridnhi is talking about is uUnder the rubber mat, there should have been two mats - one in front of the rear seat and one behind the rear seat, to level the floor. Don't trash those if you have them. They don't make them anymore and they are nice to have even if you put in carpet.

Re: heres my baby

Welcome aboard, and nice start, looks good from here...

One thing i would like to bring to your attention is the fuel filter. They were not designed to use worm drive clamps, only spring clamps. Those worm drive could be overtightened, and distort the plastic, causing a leak, and thus a fire

Good like with your build

It seems like the hatches all crack in similar spots, some not as bad as others...

Looks like something you would see on a station wagon from the 70's, remember the 3rd row rear facing seat?
