For Sale: 10 bolt 8.5" 3.08 gears and matching front axle

I have up for sale the 8.5" 10 bolt out of my 1985 Chevy K10 shortbed, it is a locker with a 3 series carrier and 3.08 gears, I believe the 3 series will accept up to 3.73 gears. The locker works perfect and the gears are in great shape. Also have the 10 bolt front axle, same deal works perfect has automatic hubs and includes the rotors. It has one bad bearing in the left wheel, should be very simple to replace, also the back axle needs one stud I believe and brakes. I have some brake hardware but its pretty rough looking, and the drums had a groove or two cut in them, you can have the brake hardware or not, won't cost you any extra. The axles are 6 bolt pattern, not too hard to change to a 5 bolt if you want. I'm asking $150 for both, also have some Gabriel gas shocks if you want them, their rough looking but feel good, no upper bolts for them. I will not ship these, you have to pick them up. I'm located in Lewisville NC,27012 about an hour away from the virginia border and about 15 mins outside of winston-salem. Contact me anyway you want, and remember first come first serve. I will accept trades on any items I have posted as well. I have an 85 shortbed K10, so I would only be interested in items that I could use on it. I like engines but doubt anyone would trade a good engine for a set of axles, anything would do, just let me know what ya want to trade and i'll tell ya if I want it or not.

Working great actually, took me longer than expected to swap them, but thats how it goes. I also decided to just go ahead and install those manual hubs instead of pulling the auto hubs from my old axle. It turns out I actually had 3.08 gears rather than the 2.73's I thought I had. I can actually use OD now, could still use some more rpms but it turns enough to make enough power to keep it going up most hills except one I usually go up on the highway, it slows down a bit but can make it without downshifting.
