After market AC hose routing pics
I'm getting ready to do my AC and have seen several good ideas but didn't save any of the pics. If you have some detailed pics of routing and where the hoses enter the cab and go thru the rad support please post. Thanks. I will update here when I start. I wanted to do some rigid line, but will be doing it all in hose.

Re: After market AC hose routing pics
I did mine like LT1 did except I put the filter/drier on the coresupport next to the condensoer core on the passenger side so it was hidden by the grill. My hoses went into the cab in the exact same spot.
I don't have any pictures of that area....

That seems to be a popular place where the heater use to be.. It makes for a nice install.

Re: After market AC hose routing pics
Hey Alan,
Your truck is really nice. I hope to see it one day, I'm not too far away. Here is my AC thread, has a lot of hose routing pics. Not show level like your truck but maybe some ideas. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=468107 TR

Found a home for the drier. I also made my first line and it worked. I don't recall where the fittings on the left came from. I think I got them when I got the crimper 3 years ago which was Nostalgic Air Parts (NAP). They even came with the o ring on them. The fitting on the right came from NAP. They must be using a different vendor. The ones on the left are a better product in my opinion. You can see the manufacturer on the right one. I ran the -8 line from the compressor to the condensor and I don't like how it looks. I need to figure out a better way to clean it up some. If I go this route it will be clamped where the fan attaches to the shroud. This is what the top will look like. The heater hoses will run parallel to them. That's the plan.

Re: After market AC hose routing pics
Got the -8 from the condensor to the comp ran. It's not crimped yet. It will need some adjusting once I get the other hoses in. Going back to my original plan of running them up next to the radiator shroud..
I also got the -6 from the drier thru the radiator support. It's not crimped either. I will get the rest ran then crimp them. I feel a lot better now. It's a little neater and thought out.

Re: After market AC hose routing pics
I don't have finished pictures yet, but I have a billet bulkhead that lays at the angle to match the inner fender.
