I need a steering wheel part

I am working on a 1985 chevy swb. I am needing the thin ring that attaches with 3 screws under the horn button. It sits inside the metal cup on top of the steering wheel. I have tried LMC and Classic and have not been able to find one. Does anyone know of a vendor where I can get one? Thanks Mike

Have you tried GM? You would be amazed at what parts they still sell.

Not trying to side track this forum, but how do you find out what parts GM has to sell?

Ask someone on the forum that works at a G.M. Dealership in the parts dept. to look into it for you during his next work day.

I did not know GM kept parts that long, why wouldn't they advertise them or auction them off at events for people like us?

This what you need?
http://www.classicparts.com/1969-72-...ctinfo/27-125/

I know it says 67-72 but I think its mis-named. I bought this kit for my 1976 and it fit and worked perfectly.

if its just the cup you need the sell that seperate too

Re: I need a steering wheel part

GM Parts giant has those parts, check it out. They also have other stuff if you look around.
Have blue left side visors listed for 85-86

I just looked on GM parts giant. I'm not sure what the part is called and didn't see any pictures.
