FS: A/C setup for 6 Cylinder

This is a complete (actually needs one rubber hose) after market unit for our trucks. It has the brackets for an inline 6 cylinder and uses a York compressor. The neat thing about this unit is that it does not use the underdash unit. It is completely behind the dash and looks like a stock unit, accept for the controls on the center vent. It was suppose to cool great before a carb fire burned the rubber return line. That is the line that will need to be replaced. $250 plus shipping. For $500 more you can have the whole truck :p

Here is a picture of the behind the dash set up:

a/c unit

Put me first in line for the a/c unit pending shipping to FL 32174. Also, can this be used with power steering. Looks like its mounted where my steering unit is located.

Im not sure. I don't even know if that truck has p/s. I would assume the company that design it would have designed it for both p/s and non p/s. I will check the truck today and se if it has P/s. I think it sit higher than it looks in the picture.

Were there other styles of ac setup used on 6's ? I thought I have seen the compressor mount on the other side. I was planning on putting both ac and ps on my 250.

You gotta stop teasing with the pics of the truck. If you didn't live so darn far away I probably would have picked it up months ago( the truck that is).

After seeing where the power steering goes on one of these 6 cylinders, you guys are correct. This is for a Non-power Steering truck...lol

Reduced to $175

ok, i might be interested , but i need to know what the compressor mounting holes look like. i think i have the bracket that will put the compressor on the other side of the engine if it is the right one. can you measure the bolt centers for me?
my bracket uses two bolts that go from the pulley side of the compressor to the back and they are 4" center to center.
and the compressor can be no more than 3 and 3/4" inches thick, front to back, at the bolt holes.
if it fits these dimensions i am interested.
