Not for nuthin'- but for the dash, with your fiberglass contacts, you're missing an opportunity. Cast up a factory match pad, with/without cast in, lined cupholders on the front of it (a'la s-10 console, std '05 silverado bench seat front, Lincoln LS console, etc.)
All of our squares have rotten dashes, and my biggest problem with my 87 is I have nowhere for my QT 32! A redneck gots ta have his tea! Do with the idea what you will, could be a great addition to the Slosh lineup! Progress looks good! Got a target date for the frame to powder?

Mike, NOT that it makes any difference, but I agree with the wife, don't like the color. It needs to be something you don't see everyday, just not sure what. I'm also not into the wood grain on the Blazers, but I'm and OLD FART with no taste. You've proofed a lot of us wrong with the pickup, so I'll sit back and let you make all the right moves (with the wife in approval)....Jim

Civic Electric Blue would be sweet and would pop with trim accents

(comes on the 99-00 Honda Civic SI's)

I love the progress man, anything Charles touches on your K5 will be outstanding, (the time machine is still one of my favorite trucks) but if you do go that way I'd suggest against the air brushed trim. I love the idea of the air bruched woodgrain, but I see so much of the trim done now its really not as cool as it used to be... but build what you like holmes, its yours!

I think the woodgrain could be really cool if it fits the theme. Can your painter do Tiger Maple? I really don't like the airbrushed trim tho. Go look at Cloud 9 and ask yourself if phony trim would look good on there!

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

its more a price issue for me , trim is expensive to replace aspecially if it has to come to europe and the weather here is kindah wet so theres more chance the truck will rust behind the trim where water and dirt tends to pool , new ordered trim from the states allso has a habbit to arive in dented and crumpled boxes , you wouldnt believe wat i've seen happening here with shipped goods , even cars in containers arent safe from thieves or bad handling
i seen airbrushed trim on pictures once but need to see it live and up close before i can realy say i like it or not , i allso need to find an artist here in the netherlands thats able to get it looking like chrome

The light tan like on CHROMAHOLIC's truck is my personal favorite non-metallic GM color and would work well with woodgrain interior trim.

It's a great color, but he's setting the bar for it. Link: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=386569 Hard to go behind that.

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

Had to come catch up, wore me out I like the way the custom frame ideas are going and the scotts suspension is awesome. So if you are friends with Charles Armstrong this should have some wicked graphics right? I like his time machine yota a lot, one of my favorite mini trucks ever. I actually met him once in the mid '90s in Oklahoma when he had the black toyota that he airbrushed murals from some dracula? movie all over it and the hood was hinged at one corner. He had some huge custom made 17s and chrome leaf springs. Man the good ol mini truckin days, ha ha. He does some awesome paint jobs, there used to be a bunch of them around in Oklahoma.
