Inner fender to cab mount

Why did this kit come with (4) grommets. I know were two of them go not sure of the other two.

I had the same question, I never used the other two..... When I took the truck apart there where only two used.....

this one came off a 61 and is org. the grommet is sandwiched and a bushing going through the middle where the bolt goes. so one is used on each side of the inner fender. don't know about other years.

All the ones I remember, were 2 grommets each side, with the tube thru the center. And I believe the correct bolt is a shoulder bolt.
