Question about window regulators
I was wondering if 72 window regulators will fit in a 71 door? I know the window and handle posts are longer for the 72 for the door panels. Just wondering if the 72 regulator will fit in a 71 door without any modifications? Thanks

Re: Question about window regulators
The regulator will mount in the 71 door no problem, just the handle post like you said is longer. if you are needing a set of the 71 style i got a pair that are cherry. would love to trade for a set for my 72

Re: Question about window regulators
I learned a new one thanks to this post. Never thought about the 72 being different.

Re: Question about window regulators
ditto! i had a hard time getting the 72 panel off the pre 72 door/regulator...was very hard to reach the clips on the handle and crank. but everything was working ok.
