Re: '68 Camper with buckets for $900 on CL TX
I have seen the fire truck from the p.o. It is a clean truck but not what I was after and too much $$$ to tear apart to build Into what I wanted (SWB stepside), so I found a 70 bb longhorn with a mangled bed but nice cab an front clip for the swap.

That stepside was priced at $7700 last year. Not a dually rear axle they just put the wheels on. It is a C30 SRW 9'stepside with aftermarket fender replacement toolboxes. Never was able to get a SPID, if someone has a copy I would like it.

Re: '68 Camper with buckets for $900 on CL TX
I need another like I need a 8th orifice but I would take that motor home in a half a heartbeat. I think it would make either a great dually conversion project or a good carhauler foundation[the length may already be there]. Plus I would like to have the buckets for another truck I'm doing now. Jim

Re: '68 Camper with buckets for $900 on CL TX
I spoke with the guy about the camper. Looks cleaner than it is in real life. He said the clip was pretty rusty, of course the cab is toast because it's cut for a pass through to the camper, hasn't been on the road in a long while..... There's $900 in parts there but not worth paying to tow it away I'm afraid.
