Craigslist findings
Basicly wanted to start a thread to put all of the deals we find on craigslist in one spot. No posting your own truck, or parts! keep that in the for sale threads! This might take off, and it might get shot down. Who knows?

Re: Craigslist findings
Might work out better if we could somehow incorporate regional or even state names into the title.

Re: Craigslist findings
It's a bit out of my price range. It would be nice to have. I do have a 68, not a runner yet, it's blue. Just helping out the thread.

Re: Craigslist findings
Help me find a truck...
Looking for a super / lwb / big block / a/c / complete truck. Or a c20 same as above. Doesn't have to be a super. This is a great thread.

Re: Craigslist findings
good deal on the 68 up there unless the frame is bent. Probably just the rotten wood floor that has the box sitting crooked.

Re: Craigslist findings
Found this 68 chevy C-10 LWB nightmare on craigslist! lol
It has a usable cab, great frame, beautiful donor bed, w/1970 sbc high nickel 350, updated HEI,Small Eldebrock, with a dual plane alum. intake, small tube headers, the guy told me it was a 383 w/TH 400! It's actually a 355 w/700r4! Something was amiss with the small tube headers and the tiny tailshaft but he only wanted 15..The bed was worth 12 alone! And the frame, the front clip were solid. All but the hood, and the doors were both hacked for a 6x9. As far as the cab, it needs some time in ICU... I told him the bed was worth 1200 alone, but didn't have all of what he was asking with me today...I told him what my thoughts were about the cab needing work and the motor/trans. were questionable on what he thought they were...He bowed his head (cause he knew that he'd been beat!) lol I don't know why actually! This was his pitch... You won't believe what he told me!? "My wife won't let me spend any more money on it, I'm sick of watching it rot...I know it needs the work too, a bit more than I can chew on, according to my wife...Here's a deal that I know your gonna love...and my wifes gonna hate! She wants a 1000 dollar shopping spree when this truck is gone, because she thinks I've wasted my money on it. I've got another set of chrome 6 bolt rims with a set of tires 75% tread. You give me 1000 cash, and get it all out of here by Sunday, you can take it. If I can give her at least a 500 dollar shopping spree, I might keep my marriage, or worst case, she'll just keep it all! lol I don't know if it was a sales pitch, an excuse, a great deal or he just wanted to piss off his wife! I know one thing, he was happy to see it go, and I was happy I called the guy! lol It will become a SWB, lowrider I think...lol As for now, it's the cab, cab, cab!!
