thats great jim taking these trucks or cars to the track is a very costly thing..seems like something is always breaking...
heck i am breaking mine just on the street....
2nd gears out of my trans...a 7200 rpm shift to second gear did that....

keep up the great work....don't get tired of working onit ...

I now have to put a cage in this winter...the truck is going on a big diet(me too..lol)..I am also building a new engine..406..Im hoping to get it to weigh 3450lbs..Ruskin huh...I used to live on the other side of the skyway(st.pete) for 35 years..still have some property on the little manatee river...wish I had some them ruskin tomatos...mmmmm

The combo is: 355/w protopline 200cc-54cc chambers with 2.055-1.6 valves...a comp xs282s10 solid cam a super VIC and super sucker..holley DP by TPC racing..MSD ignition..super comps..Manual VB th350 with 4500 stall(torco)..3.73 posi with 28x10.5x15 MT E/T streets..and a 100HP shot of giggle juice

The 406 will use the same heads..6" H beam eagle rods..4340 eagle crank...SRP flat top pistons..comp xs290s10 cam..the C/R will be a tad over 13-1. Right now the 355 runs mid 12s off the bottle consitantly..hoping the 406 will run high 11s on engine alone
